About Coding the Future with AI

Cutting through AI hype with engineering-first principles and practical results.

Tim Kitchens, CEO, Coding the Future With AI

Who I Am

I’m Tim Kitchens, founder of Coding the Future with AI, with over 30 years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership. I’ve worked across industries, leading teams through both the promises and pitfalls of new technologies. Along the way, I’ve seen every wave of hype — and I know the difference between what actually works in the field and what just looks good in a slide deck.

Today, my mission is to cut through the noise and help engineers, IT leaders, and organizations apply AI with the same rigor and discipline that defines great engineering.

What I Believe

Principles > Tools

Tools change fast, but principles endure. An engineering-first mindset keeps projects reliable, scalable, and maintainable.

Momentum > Analysis Paralysis

You don’t need months of planning to start with AI. Low-risk, high-ROI wins in the first 48 hours build confidence and real results.

Systematization > Reinventing the Wheel

Reusable workflows, prompts, and tools reduce cognitive load and ensure consistent outcomes without starting from scratch every time.

Human + AI Synergy

AI amplifies human judgment — it doesn’t replace it. My approach combines human-in-the-loop teaching with AI-in-the-loop learning.

How I Work

Coaching Engineers & Teams

I help engineers and dev teams integrate AI while keeping the rigor and discipline of proven engineering practices.

Advising IT Leaders & Organizations

I guide leaders toward low-risk, high-ROI AI adoption strategies that deliver value in days, not months.
